NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TOWN OF ELBRIDGE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to Municipal Home Rule Law there has
been presented to the Town Board of the Town of Elbridge, New York, at a regular meeting thereof
held on October 15, 2026, proposed Local Law No. D-2026, titled, “A Local Law to Amend the
Town of Elbridge Zoning Law (Chapter 265 of the Town of Elbridge Town Code) by Amending
Article X (“Solar Energy Systems”).” Said Local Law, if enacted, will allow the Town to address
the potential negative impacts of such solar energy projects by providing for protections related to
agricultural resources, town roadways, decommissioning and uniform solar guidelines for such
uses. The full text of said Local Law is on file at the Town Clerk’s Office at the Town Hall located
at 5 Route 31 in the Town of Elbridge for inspection by all interested persons.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Town Board will hold a public hearing on the
proposed Local Law at the Town Hall located at 5 Route 31 in the Town of Elbridge on November
5, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, at which time all persons
interested will be heard.

The meetings will still be held at the Town Offices, 5 NY-31, Jordan, NY 13080, Town of Elbridge, New York.

The Town of Elbridge will conduct joint board meetings with the Village of Elbridge and the Village of Jordan, in regards to the Municipal Water Project, on the third Tuesday of each month at 9:00 AM, until further notice.
